Nayanthara was recently approached by acclaimed Bollywood director Rohit Shetty to find out if she can partake in a racy item number in his new film Chennai Express, starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. A lot of Tamil actors are already a part of this film, it must be noted.
But the actress politely refused the offer despite being offered a huge amount for the same. She is currently busy doing lead roles in big films down South in languages like Tamil and Telugu. We have to see for how long she resists Bollywood given her soaring popularity in the South.
